REGISTRATION

Hello, and welcome to the Shelton Public School System!

To register your child, please print and complete the registration forms below - read directions carefully and complete all required forms.

Registration is done by appointment only! Please do not come to the schools or Central Offices without an appointment!

 

GRADES K-4

Your child must be aged 5 on or before September 1, 2025 to enter Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year. For exemption information, please click here.

Beginning June 18 and ending August 14, 2025, registration for Grades K-4 will take place at the Shelton Public Schools Central Offices located at 382 Long Hill Avenue, Monday through Friday during business hours by appointment only.

After August 14, registration will take place at the schools directly.

Please email register@sheltonpublicschools.org or call 203-924-1023, extension 302 to make an appointment to register once all forms are complete. Please do not attempt to make an appointment unless all forms and necessary documents are complete – this includes the Health Assessment Record. If your child’s physical is late in the summer, either provide a copy of their last physical or wait to register after the physical appointment.

GRADES 5-12

Once ALL forms are complete, please call the school your child will be attending. They will assist you with the next steps in the process.
